Manhattan, Monday morning, it is ninety-nine degrees in the shade, Ariel Air is
responding to a service call. Traffic is crawling and parking is a
challenge. Although, the air conditioning is out of order, the office
is cool since the back up system kicked in automatically – no down
time. Now, it’s winter. The forecast is twenty-one degrees and with the
wind chill factor it feels like three below zero. The office is warm
and toasty; Ariel Air is responding to a service call, the steam
coil is leaking. There is a replacement coil available at the local
supplier, consider the job done at a reasonable price.
Ariel Air provides
HVAC service to relatives, friends and commercial building tenants.
Systems improvements, repairs, installations and controls are our
specialty. In the winter, some older overheated buildings have their
windows open and the air conditioning on, but they are not uncommon.
Economical solutions are available to reduce waste and help maintain
cleaner environment, such as Fresh air dampers, programmable
thermostats and low ambient controls. The irony of it all is that there
is always the possibility of the buildings being torn down to make room
for new skyscrapers, but in the interim these conditions are not
rectified and the waste continues.
